LJFFF Award 2011 „Most Creative Concept“ PRECIOUS by Monica Menez

And the Winners Are…

Over the weekend, fashionistas and film buffs fled to the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla. The two-day event showed 20 short films from 13 directors and seven producers from all over the world.

La Jolla Fashion Film Festival director Fred Sweet’s event attracted the likes of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld; Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosia best known for posing in her undies for Victoria’s Secret, and renowned fashion photographer Bruce Weber. Sweet said the short movies combine the element of visual art, both in fashion and film, with technology and new media.

“The fashion influencers and thought leaders who attended the Festival were all part of the wonderful energy and professional networking that the fashion film community represents,” said Sweet in an email to Patch.
